1957 - Born oldest of 5 children to Thomas and Ann (Caldwell) Devaney,
Buffalo NY
1965 - Won 2 Blue Ribbons at Erie County Fair & Exposition, Hamburg NY,
for watercolor and pencil entries (age 7); art teacher & mentor Winifred
Caldwell (grandmother)
1966 - Exhibit St. John the Evangelist School; Won 8 ribbons on 9 entries at
Erie County Fair; Quaker Arts Festival (age 8)
1967 - Art Festival at Leisureland; Erie County Fair; Interest expressed by The
Childrens Art Gallery, New York City, for future exhibit (age 9 & 10)
1968 - Erie County Fair won 2 Blue and 1 red Ribbons (age 10)
1969 - One man show, Buffalo NY; Erie County fair (age 11)
1970 - Erie County Fair exhibit and personal demonstration (age 12)
1971 - Winifred Caldwell dies
1971 to 1982 - Sporadic drawings
1983 to 1985 - Produced @ 6 Oil Paintings and various sketches in pencil
and pen and ink, Bellevue OH; took 3 lessons with local artist which
produced Barn and Tractor owned by son, Justin Devaney

Falls, Ruths Old House, Southern Hotel Garden, Old Brick etc; began Plein

One-day Plein Air Oil workshop with Billy O'Donnell (House on a Hill -
repainted in 2009 as Cool Shade); Plein Air Event, produced 3 oils above &
won 2nd place in Watercolor / Pastel category with Southern Hotel; Autumn
